How many of us remember when we were babies? Well, you probably don't, but let me tell you what it might have been like. When you were a baby the main thing you did was sleep and everyone would say, "Oh! what a cute baby!" And when you were up you got held by everyone and after a day of that you would fall asleep. Now a few months later you are talking and the first word that you learn is, "Mommy!" And you say why is that the first word I would have learned? Well, you see when you are sleeping your daddy is at work and your mommy is taking care of you! And when you would wake up your daddy is working or sleeping and your mommy is also sleeping but she is the one who comes and picks you up and rocks you back to sleep and she is humming a little ditty and you fall to sleep and your mommy puts you in bed and tries to get a little more sleep before you get up again. Anyway in what seems like a short time you are walking and now is when you can be cute and not so cute. You can walk to someone instead of them coming to you. And with this new mobility you can be naughty and this means that you can be harder to take care of. And if the parents fail to teach their children, the children will be in charge instead of the parents. Because if you allow the children to scream and get their way they will rule over you and that means that you will have no power over them. If a child does not have a healthy fear of the parents then there is no hope for the child to obey you or respect you in any way. Now as the child gets older they don't like to take naps and if they don't they are ten times harder to deal with. And not wanting to take naps goes on until they get a job and that is when the child thinks that life is going to Slow. But as the child is thinking this the parents are thinking that time is going too Fast. And then as the child is getting older and they are becoming young adults they find someone that they love and they think of that person every day. When they get old enough they marry that person they hold dear. And so remember when you are having trouble with your child, you were just like them once. Time is like the wind it comes and goes and you can't call time back. It is like the rain and it cannot be stopped. And you only have them for the time that is at hand.
